It’s time to party …

Meet, greet and entertain. Our Characters will make your guests laugh out loud

Meet, greet and entertain. Our Characters will make your guests laugh out loud

We’ve got some amazing entertainment for a summer social, family gathering, wedding, team bonding bar-b-que or just a ‘why ever not’.

Roaming Entertainment: Interactive live entertainers: A summer party should be fun & a bit ‘extra’. Live costumed characters meets, greet & chat to guests giving your party a touch of theatricality as well those all important ‘Instagram’ moments.

As guests enjoy drinks/ nibbles our characters will be moving around chatting, storytelling and creating some theatrical fun

What do they do: As larger than life fully costumed characters our highly skilled performers will be chatting to your guests up close. They will interact, chatting in character helping to break the ice, telling jokes, making them laugh, posing for photo ops and make your guests laugh out loud as they banter, joke and entertain.

Activities include ‘fortune telling,’ close up magic tricks, Tap Dancers (ready to teach anyone a few steps or two) or an impromptu sing-a-long - we have West End Performers who can belt out an amazing tune or two.

Additional elements:

-       A Taste of Murder: Unlike our more formal murder mystery dinners, this interactive lighter version will still give guests the chance to solve a crime over the course of the night, but doesn’t require the focus and attention of a standard event. Teams will work together to solve the crime before the night is out

- Simply Team building: Depending on the theme of your event we will create teams of ‘character’s ie gangsters, robbers, gamblers. Each team will have a series of tasks over the course of the evening that they can choose to participate in or simply enjoy mingling with the actors.

Duration: From just 30 mins to a full evening of entertainment. Min of two actors from £400

Meet the Characters: If you have a particular theme let us know. Here are a few examples from previous client events

Cheeky Blinders : A tribute to the popular BBC show Two, Three or Four actors (Billy Kimber, Polly Shelby, Lilly Star, the Showgirl, Harry Fowler - the bookmaker.) Take your guests back to the 20s for a night at The Garrison hosted by Polly Kimber and Billy Kimber. In true PB style there will be more than a touch of drama as things hot up. Don't worry there will be drinks on hand - just make sure your keep your wits around you and remember 'No One Messes With The Peaky Blinders'

Lord & Lady Roland Butter:. A bickering couple whose fun fast paced comedy is hilarious. They invite your guests to enjoy a drink (or two) with them …. but they are a little loose lipped and start to reveal all sorts of information that they probably shouldn’t about country living and the effects of one too many Pimms on the lawn. Perfect for a classic Summer Party. This can be themed to a traditional Manor House type environment or garden party.

Sherlock Holmes & Watson : A classic Murder Mystery type of party. These two famous characters will meet and greet guests before setting the scene. Let Holmes show you the secrets of Victorian Detecting while Watson will guide you through a super sleuthing experience. Combine this with some typical Victorian characters like Fortune Teller, Madam Crystal Waters: She’s mysterious but also happens to know a lot about your past and future. We get information about your guests in advance and watch them literally opened mouthed when she reveals information that only friends and family would know. For some cockney banter Arthur Chance is your man. This cheeky chap will sell you back your own watch once he’s ‘nicked’ it. He’s got all the banter and all the charm. He will teach you a slight of hand trick of two.. just keep your wits & your valuables about you.

Malice In Wonderland: Not quite like the story you remember as a child. Alice has grown up, she will tell you what really happens in Wonderland & leave you with your own special ‘drink me’ potion. The White Rabbit has developed his own ‘habits; and the Mat Hatter is .. well mad… Lots of jokes, puns and one liners - your guests will be laughing all the way down the rabbit hole.

Hollywood Theme : Our dancing shoes are firmly on… Meet the stars of the silver screen. However our leading lady has just lost the role to a rival (someone in your party) and she’s not happy… in fact she’s getting rather drunk and loose lipped. The Movie boss is looking for some new talent… and it’s time to get your dancing shoes on as your guests will learn a few moves of their own. We will teach a few easy dance steps to guests.

Disco : Studio 54: It’s time to get things moving a little and we’ve got just the people to do this for you. Carrie Oakey, the disco dancing diva and Dan Saw-night, your cheesy 70s host are in the house. They will get guests getting their groove on, teaching them a few signature moves. We can even get guests up on to the dance floor for a little 70s style dance routine.

What makes us unique: We don't need a stage, lighting, microphones. Your guests get to talk to us up close and personally. Our performers are highly skilled improvisers and will create magical moments for guests which are totally unique and personal. It’s always full of laughter (and a few drinks of course).

A Midsummer Night’s Murder

For more drama why not host a Summer themed Murder Mystery experience. For any fan of escape rooms, or those that love a classic Agatha Christie with a comedy twist you’ll love our professionally hosted Whodunits. You get the chance to dress up (if you want to) watch the twists & turns of our highly constructed Whodunit’s and even take a character part - if you want. There are things to listen to, read, do and watch and time is of the essence. After all a killer is among you.

Our professional actors make sure you can hear everything as they mingle through your guests. So you won’t miss a vital clue or red herring. You will feel like you are part of your own Agatha Christie as the actors make the story come alive. They set scene, keep everything on track and make everyone feel truly part of this unique experience.

We will send your guests their own digital pre-murder pack of information & clues in advance. So, when the costumed characters join you things start off with a bang (pun most definitely intended) and the first of two murders takes place.

As the sun goes down, the action heats up. No one knows Whodunit (even the killer themselves), but what we do know is that it’s (almost) definitely one of you. We can promise you a tale full of twists and turns and a lot of red herrings. You then decide Whodunit.

As our shows are flexible with regard to guest numbers you don’t need to worry if guests are unable to attend at the last minute. The show will still go on.

Missing Person Inquiry- Team building challenge

Part scavenger hunt, part CSI challenge. A 1.5 hour  to 2 hour live team-building  experience. Find the clues, interrogate the suspects and decide what happened to  a missing young woman.

You are a Detective. But there’s a lot of cuts in the Police these days. You have till the end of your shift to come up with your report otherwise the reporters are going to print & you will be going home without a police badge.

Your job is to walk in her shoes,  what did she see, who did she speak to and what on earth happened to her. Where is she? What can you find out about her? Was she the girl next door or involved in something more sinister?

This is an outdoor experience, hosted by professional actors. They will be scattered in various locations. You need to find them and talk to them..There is no givens. The more questions get asked, the more information is revealed to you. Every experience is different based on how the teams respond in situ.

Guests are guided and not left to their own devices.

How does it work : You are met by a detective inspector (DI Holm) for a briefing. Your job is to work in  teams and each team must find out who Victoria really was, what was happening in her life and what happened to her.

The DI will point you in the direction of other people who are actually in the space now. Ie they are dotted around a park, sitting on a bench, or pre set around the location. You currently have them under surveillance.  But time is limited as they may leave at any time. So you need to go and find them – They will give you vital information about life of an ordinary person but you should also try and reveal the extraordinary.

Teams must:

-       Appoint a team leader (your spokesperson) who will also be sent info directly – ie clues as they come in

-       Read their info pack that has been sent in advance

-       Decide on a team name

-       Split yourselves up and decide who will be sent to speak to which character

-       Decide on a time to catchup and review. And what your next steps will be

-       You then move around the space ie a park (given a map and things to look out for)

-       Remember other teams can hear what you are asking so be careful

Mobile Incident Desk: The DI will call Team Leaders to meetings at any time. He/She may also add more meetings to give you information that the suspects don’t know. Team leaders then need to convey this to their team so they can re question any suspect they wish.
